ITINERARY

A hosted, intimate experience unlocking the raw beauty of our Snowy Plains.

Travel back to a simpler time as we visit the historic homesteads of generations past and marvel at how families lived almost 200 years ago! Explore at your own pace, without crowds or 'hustle n bustle'. 

Return to nature and picnic among the local wildlife - ever wanted to see the brumbies Banjo Paterson describes?

See the Murrumbidgee River, Australia's second longest river, near its mountain source.

Hear its flow in the silence of this Alpine plain. 

Of course your day experience includes a gourmet lunch and morning/afternoon tea enjoyed within this magnificent part of the High Country.

Curated for groups of 2 to 4 guests, travelling in the safety and comfort of our Land Rover Discovery as some areas require 4x4 access along National Park trails.

Total Guests

  • This tour has been designed for a total of two (2) to four (4) guests

Tour Time

  • This is a full-day tour commencing at 9:00am and returning around 5:00pm
  • Total tour time is a minimum of 8 hours ensuring a comfortable, stress-free experience

Pick-up Location/Time

  • Nominated guest accommodation
  • Group organiser to confirm guest pick-up location
  • Guests are to be ready for pickup from 9:00am

Drop-off Location

  • Nominated guest accommodation

Tour Seasons

  • Spring, Summer, Autumn. Winter - Long Plain is closed due to snow

Minimum Age

  • All guests must be over 18 years of age

COVID-Safety

We are all doing our best during this time. Our Snowy is COVID-Safe registered and all NSW Government issued COVID restrictions for regional NSW will be adhered to without exception. Should a NSW Government COVID lock-down restriction prevent you from attending a booked tour, we will carry your booking over to a future date once restrictions have been lifted, or provide a credit for you to re-book at a time suitable for you.


Changes and Cancellation Policy

Our Snowy reserve the right to amend the above program item/s due to unforeseen circumstances with replacement of similar value program item/s. Payment of 100% for our Tours is due at the time of your booking. Booking is final, any changes may incur a small administration fee which may be charged at the election of Our Snowy.

Cancellation of your attendance at our Tours:

  • Within 96 hours of the event start will result in an administration fee charge of $40 per participant and refund of the remaining cost only
  • Within 48 hours of the event start, a refund of 50% of the total cost only
  • Within 24 hours of the event start, no refund will be provided
